A simple small binaural/stereo capsule, which used to be a power cable connector enclosure made from die cast aluminum. Hand painted with ‘broken hexagon’ patterns and with an embossed METSÄÄN stamp. This machine contains 2 ‘reverse avalanche’ oscillator pairs per channel, each channel has a dedicated ‘EHX style’ booster and volume control. Each of the 4 oscillators has a frequency control pot and an orange indicator LED, that is actually part of the audio circuit, it dims and flickers slightly on low frequency settings and flares up with higher frequencies. The stereo output signal can either be routed through one 6.3mm stereo socket (located on the side where the power input socket is). When a second 6.3mm mono jack is inserted into the other socket the signal gets split into 2 mono channels on each output. The BINAURAL DRONE CAPSULE runs on 12V DC (euro-plug power adapter included, if you need it.) Dimensions: 9cm x 9cm (without the socket protection ‘ears’, those stick out 1.5cm) x 6.4cm (including knobs).
