DIRTY DRONE #18 - 8 drone oscillators and a powerful resonant filter main photo

The DIRTY DRONE #18 is a combination of the DIRTY DRONE DEFROST with a modified TOTAL CONTROL FILTER in a recycled wooden bottle box with a stencil pattern design and with a stamped aluminum face plate. The lid smoothly locks with inserted magnets.

This drone synth generates a raw drone/noise environment that can be shaped endlessly with the resonant filter section. The 8 SQUARE WAVE OSCILLATORS are grouped to 4 pairs of frequency synced oscillators, each pair with a dedicated FREQUENCY pot. These pairs can be de-synced with an individual OFFSET control to create shifts in the wave forms. Two toggle switch select either one of the pairs or the rich sum of both (Beware, the switch is inverted and selects the opposite pair of oscillators!) and two more toggle switches activate or deactivate each of the 2 oscillator pairs. The sum of the signal then runs through the powerful resonant filter with a LOW and HIGH frequency attenuator, that when turned all the way clock-wise adds some distortion to the signal. A RESONANCE control can be toggled into BOOST mode with a switch and the FILTER FREQUENCY pot lets you sweep through a wide range. Finally the output can be tamed with a VOLUME control and a ON/OFF toggle switch. Power is indicated by an UV led, that lets the image of a bombed out Dresden in the dark (this additional design is a result of the problematic serial number of this build.)
