WASP FILTER PEDAL #1- a noisy legend main photo

The WASP FILTER PEDAL #1 contains the notorious multi-mode filter section of the EDP WASPsynth for the signals of your choice, housed in a sturdy octagonal die cast aluminum enclosure with stenciled artwork. The 4 FILTER MODES are SELECTED by the big knob (up to down: LOW PASS, BAND PASS, HIGH PASS and NOTCH). A the input signal is controlled with the GAIN control. A dedicated RESONANCE control determines the feedback at the CUTOFF point, that of course is determined by the most important control. Furthermore the RESONANCE has two settings (EXTREME/NORMAL) that are selected with the upper toggle switch. In HIGH PASS mode the filter is can self-oscillate to generate a SINE WAVE and the FREQUENCY can be dialed in with the CUTOFF control, this control has also a mono mini jack input for external CV (0-5V DC), which allows to play the filter like an sine wave oscillator or modulate. Otherwise the CV allows to modulate the filter’s CUTOFF with external gear (see demo video). The left stomp switch is the TRUE BYPASS (with ultraviolet indicator LED) and the right stomp switch engages the DISTORTION (with orange indicator LED), which has a TREBLE BOOST that engages by flipping the lower toggle switch. A VOLUME control allows to attenuate the OUTPUT of the filter. Handmade by GRM for METSÄÄN.
